What the Warranty Covers
MZ Reformer Pilates Reformers are covered by a structural frame warranty against manufacturing defects. Here is exactly what that means in practice:
Covered
- Frame: Aluminium or oak wood frame structural integrity. If the frame cracks, warps, or fails at a joint under normal use, we replace the reformer.
- Carriage: The sliding carriage platform. If the wheel bearings seize or the carriage surface delaminates, we replace the carriage assembly.
- Springs: ASTM A228 music wire springs. If a spring snaps or permanently deforms (loses tension beyond 10% of spec) within the first 12 months, we send replacements at our cost.
- Ropes & Straps: First 6 months — we replace at no charge if they fray or break under normal use.
Not Covered (Wear & Tear)
- Upholstery wear, scratches, or cosmetic damage from use
- Rust from outdoor storage or high-humidity environments without dehumidification
- Damage from modification, improper assembly, or use exceeding the 150 kg weight capacity
- Damage during customer-arranged moving or transport
How to File a Claim
- Email support@zenithmusclefitness.com with your order number and a photo or short video showing the issue.
- We respond within 1 business day. For frame or structural issues, we may send a local technician to inspect (Brisbane metro) or request additional photos (regional/interstate).
- Once confirmed, we ship the replacement part or unit from our Darra QLD warehouse. Brisbane metro: 3–7 business days. Interstate: 5–12 business days.
- You do not need to return the original item unless we specifically request it for engineering analysis (we cover return shipping in that case).
Replacement Parts Pricing (Out of Warranty)
For wear components outside the coverage window, replacement parts are available at cost:

Why We Publish This
Most fitness equipment brands bury their warranty claim data. That makes sense for them — it's not flattering. We publish ours because:
- It forces us to build equipment that doesn't fail. A public claims log is the strongest quality incentive there is.
- It lets you see exactly what issues other buyers have encountered before you purchase.
- It proves the "0 claims to date" number is real, not marketing copy.
If a claim pattern emerges (e.g., 3 claims on the same batch of springs), we will publish a note here explaining what we found and what we changed. That has not happened yet — this sentence exists as a placeholder for accountability.
