A few years back, our founder was kitting out a home gym in Brisbane and quickly ran into the same wall that every Australian fitness enthusiast hits — the prices were absolutely brutal.

The equipment itself wasn't the problem. The problem was the chain of distributors, importers, and middlemen standing between the factory floor and your garage. By the time a barbell or a power rack made it onto an Australian retailer's shelf, it had been marked up so many times that you were paying double — sometimes triple — what the gear was actually worth.

So he did something about it.
